This is a favorite for locals looking to
learn the game or get in a quick 18 holes,
Duck Haven is a good basic golf course. Many of the holes play short so
beginners won't be over-challenged, and an open layout forgives errant drives.
Likely the most affordable place to play in the region. Duck Haven is the public
golf course closest to Wrightsville Beach and will give you the chance to get
away for a quick round. This rustic course is nestled in the pines and oaks
typical of the coastal plain, and the course gently rises and falls over ancient
sand dunes. There is a small pro shop and refreshment center. USGA rules govern
play. Shirts must be worn at all times.
