Description : Popular mystery writer Sarah Shaber returns from Raleigh to talk about her fifth book in the Louise Pearlie World War II Mystery series, Louise’s Chance. Louise is a young Woman from Wilmington, NC who moves to war time Washington and a job at the Office of Strategic Services, forerunner of the CIA. Other books in the series includes Louise’s War, Louise’s Gamble, Louise’s Dilemma, and Louise’s Blunder. Presented at the Latimer House at 126 South Third Street at 11am, an optional lunch will be provided in the tea room at noon. The cost is $5 for the lecture and $15 if you stay for lunch.
