Surfrider to host ocean-friendly garden seminar
Stormwater runoff is the number one source of surface water pollution according to the City of Wilmington. Since this rainwater is not treated, pollution is picked up in the water as it travels down our roads, into our storm drains and back out to our waterways. Everything from pet waste, grass clippings, fertilizer, pesticides, litter, etc. make its way into our creeks, rivers and oceans.
