New Hanover County neighborhood concerned about sex offender
Northchase homeowners were notified that a registered sex offender was seen lurking in their neighborhood. A woman reported that Shaunn Grady, of Castle Hayne, followed her in his car while she was walking on Northchase Parkway, then approached her and asked her to come close to his car. Now, neighbors are on the lookout.
“You see everyone always walking out here,” said Northchase resident Eva Roland. “We walk, but I’ve never seen anyone like that in the neighborhood, but because of the security that’s going around at night, I feel pretty safe.”
We were told a detective will go to Grady’s house to find out why he was in the neighborhood, and let him know about the complaints about him.
