N.C. orthodontist paying kids to turn in Halloween candy

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) – A North Carolina orthodontist is offering to pay trick-or-treaters to fork over their candy.The News & Observer of Raleigh reports that Dr. Jason Gladwell of Wake Forest will pay children $1 per pound of candy they bring into his office. Children can make the swap on Monday and Wednesday.
