Sea turtle volunteers prowl beaches in search of nests
When the sun is just starting its climb into the early-morning sky, it can be a little difficult to see out on the beach. But sea turtle lovers are trained and know what to look for. Volunteers at most area beaches either hop on ATVs or set out on foot to inspect the beach strand for sea turtle nests. They hope to find them before foxes and other predators do.
