STORMTRACK 3: Maria stays far offshore, no new systems
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Tropical system Maria will not directly affect our area. The system may increase our risk of rip currents later this week, but no rain/wind is expected from Maria.
Elsewhere, the tropics are quiet. No new systems are expected to form in the next 48 hours.
