FIRST ON 3: Ambulance driver involved in deadly wreck has long list of traffic violations
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The ambulance driver involved Monday in a deadly wreck that killed 18-year-old Sarah Allen has a long list of traffic violations.
According to Brunswick County court documents, Joseph David Fancher received:
> a speeding ticket in January 2003 for doing 65 mph in a 45 mph zone
> a speeding ticket in April 2003 for doing 75 in a 55
> a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt and driving while his license was revoked in October 2004
> a citation for not having insurance and an expired registration in January 2008
> a ticket for an expired inspection in April 2008
> a citation for not having insurance or a license in January 2009
> a ticket for no insurance and a canceled, revoked or suspended tag in January 2011.
Highway Patrol cited him for not stopping at a red light Monday. They will be meeting with the District Attorney’s office today to discuss more charges.
