Two charged in Brunswick county shooting
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – Two people wanted for a weekend murder in the Longwood community are now in custody.
Alfred Lamont Butler turned himself in to authorities earlier today. He was wanted for the fatal shooting of Sherman Daniels on October 4th. Butler is charged with murder, discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling, and possession of a firearm by a felon. He is currently being held in the Brunswick County Detention Center without bond.
Johntoria Walton was arrested this afternoon and is charged with accessory after the fact. She is under a $45,000 secured bond.
