Mike Krause doesn’t sugar coat. The Wilmington Housing Authority CEO is frank and focused. He was handed a full plate of poor financial dealings and mismanagement in 2008 when he took over leading the public housing agency. From scathing audits to a $1.2 million deficit, his hands were immediately full. Despite the public’s dark picture of the housing authority and what they might think of the CEO himself, many are quick to point out the success so far.
