Charlotte police identify man shot at complex
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) – Charlotte police have identified a man who was shot and killed at an apartment complex earlier this week.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said Wednesday that the victim was 44-year-old Guy J. Stewart. Investigators say Stewart died minutes after they arrived at the apartment complex Sunday night.
Police say the shooter knew Stewart and lives in the apartment where the shooting happened. The shooter called 911. Police have not described what happened but they say the shooter is cooperating with the investigation. No charges have been filed.
