Republican Don Yousey is running for the 5th District seat of the
Brunswick County Commission, a seat held by long-time commissioner Bill
Sue. Yousey has been the Brunswick County Health Director for 14 years and
says if elected he will bring the same leadership to the commission that
he did to the health department. Originally from upstate New York, Yousey
spent over 25 years in the Air Force. He says he decided to run because he
has some concerns about the way business has been going lately in
Brunswick County.
