Severe storms again today
SOUTHEASTERN NC (WWAY) — A slow-moving storm system continues to provide plenty of moisture and instability across our area. Severe thunderstorms have affected several counties this afternoon, and a few additional strong storms will be possible during the early evening hours. As of 4 PM, no tornadoes have been reported today. No injuries have been reported in North Carolina, but a Georgetown County reisdent (South Carolina) was hit by lightning earlier today.
As always, keep it right here at WWAY on-air, online on our Facebook page, and on Twitter for all the latest warnings as they are issued. You can also track the storms at home by using our Interactive Radar – or on your mobile device by downloading the StormTrack 3 Weather App.
