WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Shooting is underway in Wilmington on Nicholas Sparks’s book-turned-movie “Safe Haven.”
A publicist says Brookwood Avenue off Market Street will serve as Boston in the movie.
No big stars are in town yet, but Julianne Hough could begin filming as early as tomorrow.
The cast will shoot in Wilmington for two weeks before moving to Southport, where most of the movie is set.
