BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office says a veteran was robbed of more than $260,000 by his caretaker.
The Fraud Unit says Lisa Veronica McGee McClain was employed by a local home health care company and assigned to Kenneth Ray Nash of Leland. McClain is charged with stealing Nash’s bank account information and paying expenses for a number of people.
