Woman in jail, three men wanted for Tabor City shooting
TABOR CITY, NC (WWAY) — New details about a shooting last week in Tabor City. A woman has turned herself in to police in connection with the crime.
Tabor City Police say Amanda Hardee turned herself in Wednesday in connection to a shooting in a church parking lot last week. Hardee is in the Horry County Jail without bond charged with six counts of attempted murder, burglary, and discharging a firearm into a dwelling. Police say Hardee shot David Grubbs in the neck after he tried to get back his son’s stolen cell phone.
Police in Tabor City and Loris, SC, are also looking for three men they believe are connected to the crimes. Xavier Hemingway, David Hemingway and Dustin Stackhouse are all suspects in the rash of crimes that crossed the state line.
Grubbs is still in the hospital recovering from his injuries. Tabor City Police say they hope to speak with him to find out more about the events leading up to the shooting.
