TRUCK-a-ROO to debut in Downtown Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (NEWS RELEASE) — Pipeline Event Management and Wilmington Downtown, Inc. (WDI) are proud to present TRUCK-a-ROO, an inaugural downtown food truck cook-off featuring regional foods and regional brews. The event will take place on November 3, 2012 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Riverfront Park in downtown Wilmington, NC.

With the purchase of a Ballot Card, individuals will have the opportunity to sample a savory selection from each of the trucks and cast their vote for the ‘Best in Show.’ Admission to the event will be free of charge, and regional craft brews and wine will be available for purchase. Local bands Groove Fetish, Fred Flynn & Wes Sayer and Jesse Stockton & Dead Sparrow will provide entertainment throughout the evening.

“Food trucks are a growing trend both in our local community and nationwide. We’re so excited to partner with WDI on this event and help raise funds for their organization. We look forward to bringing more people downtown on November 3rd,” says Blair Walton from Pipeline Event Management.
