CFPUA issues boil water advisory

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority wants to remind you about tonight’s water shutdown and precautionary boil water advisory.

As part of their assistance to Wilmington’s storm drain rehabilitation project, CFPUA will be conducting system work at the intersection of North Front Street and Walnut Street in downtown Wilmington.

As a result, a precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for residents of the 200 and 300 blocks of Front Street and #10 Walnut Street.

CFPUA will remove water pressure at 11:00 tonight and work should be complete by 7:00 tomorrow morning.

CFPUA has informed the residents in the area of the work and the advisory.
