Wilmington City Council also heard a presentation on potential transportation bond. Tuesday nights talk included a total of $55 million in funding. A new plan was discussed that included a trail on Masonboro Loop Road; connecting business and residential areas.

In all, the breakdown of funding detailed tonight was $33 million to road projects, $20 million for bike and pedestrian projects and $2 million for public transportation.
