Charity basketball game will showcase players from UNC, Duke and Wake Forest

Hoops fans have a chance Tuesday night to see some big-name basketball players in action.

Seniors from UNC’s National Championship team, including Tyler Hansbrough, and other stars from Duke and Wake Forest will play seniors from New Hanover County’s four high schools in a charity basketball game.

There will also be a three-point contest, a slam dunk contest and even an autograph session.

Tickets for the game are ten dollars in advance or $12.50 at the door. VIP seats are 25 dollars. You can get them at New Hanover, Laney, Hoggard and Ashley high schools.

The action tips off at 7:30 p.m. at Brogden Hall at New Hanover High.
