Two men charged for LSD after tip at high school football game
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit has arrested two men on charges involving LSD after they got a tip one of the men was trying to sell the drug at a high school football game.
Investigators say the School Resource Officers at South Brunswick High School got the tip. They say Olin Chad Ivey, 29, of Supply, was on campus during the football game Friday night with the intention of selling LSD. They say Ivey had 72 doses of LSD and 38 Xanax tablets at the game. He was taken into custody and later booked into the Brunswick County Detention Facility, where he remains under a $25,000 bond.
Further investigation led deputies to Odell Frasier Bullington, 37, of Ocean Isle Beach, who a patrol officer pulled over. Deputies found he had 705 doses of LSD. A search of his home led investigators to 106 more doses.
Ivey is charged with manufacturing, selling, delivering or possessing a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver (PWIMSD) a schedule I controlled substance, PWIMSD a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of LSD and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bullington is charged with two counts of trafficking in LSD, PWIMSD a schedule I controlled substance, selling or delivering a schedule I controlled substance, possession of LSD and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is in jail under a $230,000 bond.
