Freezin for a Reason: UNCW fraternity brings back age old tradition

A sunny afternoon welcomed UNCW to the start of the weekend Friday afternoon and one organization took a unique approach to cooling off. Delta Sigma Phi’s "Freezin for a Reason" philanthropy sat members on blocks of ice as people donated more money to keep them on the ice.

In a work session at Halyburton Park on Friday Wilmington City Council discussed priorities and projects for 2017.
