Friends remember Monkey Junction murder victim

Terry Greenwood gave the term "regular" a new meaning. Coat of Arms Lounge owner Jamie Jordan said 39-year-old Greenwood visited his bar nearly every day for eight years.  "It was like a family, you know?" Jordan recalled. Columbus County creates water response team

While many are still in recovery after Hurricane Matthew, Columbus County officials are already planning for the next storm. The Local Emergency Planning Commission asked county commissioners for a water response team. Les High is a member of the commission and a volunteer with Whiteville Rescue.
