Pet education program coming to Brunswick County school

A group of fourth graders in Brunswick County will soon get an education in how to properly care for pets. Paws-Ability, a nonprofit organization that raises funds to improve animal welfare in Brunswick County, is planning a six-week pet education program for the fourth-grade students at Jessie Mae Monroe Elementary School beginning Thursday.

Short term rentals leave council in standstill
