Women gets prison time after starting high speed police chase

Downtown Wilmington looks ahead to new Municipal Service District

Wilmington City Council members approved the new Municipal Service District on Tuesday night. The ordinance states that property owners in the Central Business District would pay a new tax of seven cents for every $100 of property value. The revenue would then be used specifically to provide additional services in the designated area, including increased security, marketing and beautification projects.
