Port site search finds no graves

Brunswick County’s search for graves at the site of a proposed international port near Southport has ended.<br>The headstone that was found when the county was looking for possible graves was a memorial, Assistant County Attorney Jana Berg said. “There was never anybody buried there,” she said.
