Several teens try to rob man of his iPod in Wilmington

Several teens tried to rob a man of his iPod while he was out walking in the 800 block of Colonial Drive on Sunday, police said.<br>The robbery attempt occurred at 4:05 p.m. when four teenagers approached a 43-year-old man from behind, according to a statement from Lucy Crockett, spokeswoman for the Wilmington Police Department.

Officers received a report of an assault with a deadly weapon that occurred Monday morning, but have little to go on.<br>The incident occurred after midnight and Wilmington police officers met the victim at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, according to a statement from Lucy Crockett, spokeswoman for the police department.
