Police blotter: Holdup victim treated for wound after shot chasing assailants

A holdup victim was shot on Third Street early Sunday morning when he chased after his assailants, police say. The injury didn’t appear life-threatening, but the man was taken to the hospital for treatment, according to a statement from Lucy Crockett, spokeswoman for the Wilmington Police Department.
