Brunswick commissioners to vote tonight on water, sewer availability fees

The Brunswick County Board of Commissioners will vote Monday night on a plan to eliminate availability fees for people who do not wish to connect to county water or sewer lines on their roads.<br>The county’s customers will continue to pay the same amount, though the availability fee they were paying will now be called a base fee.

AAA: Wilmington at low end of record N.C. gas prices

Gas prices are at record highs in North Carolina on Monday, but not in Wilmington.<br>The statewide average for regular unleaded was $4.085 a gallon Monday, while Wilmington’s average price was 13 cents cheaper at $3.958, according to AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report.
