Ferry at Fort Fisher to shut down in December and January

Legislators request money to restore services for disabled

Local legislators want New Hanover County commissioners to consider releasing money that would restore services for some developmentally disabled residents.<br>The state lawmakers sent a letter Friday urging the commissioners to make $2 million available to fund things like therapy and community support services.

N.C. Senate contenders Boseman, Lee to meet for debate
