Nighttime construction begins on Wilmington’s Oleander Drive

Oleander Drive’s makeover began this week, with nighttime lane closures possible on the stretch from Dawson Street to Independence Boulevard.<br>Motorists can expect delays there due to single lane closures from 7 p.m.-7 a.m. on weekdays through early December, said Kerry Cross, resident engineer with the N.C. Department of Transportation.
