Brunswick commissioners to consider low-impact development resolution

Bolivia | As Brunswick County leaders continue their attempt to clean up waterways such as the Lockwood Folly River, the commissioners will consider at Monday night’s meeting approving a low-impact development resolution. But the board won’t pick up on what’s been deemed a risky proposal to use chemicals to clean the river.

Man shot this afternoon on Dawson Street

A man was shot twice in the legs about 1:15 p.m. today while walking along Dawson Street, police say. Police said they are looking for two men who are acquainted with the victim in connection with the shooting.
