Frost advisory issued for Cape Fear region

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a frost advisory, which is in effect from 3-9 a.m. Friday. Low temperatures are forecast to drop into the lower and mid 30s late tonight. As a result, areas of frost are expected to form. The frost will dissipate as temperatures quickly warm about 9 a.m.
