Kent State too much for UNCW as ‘Hawks fall on road

UNC-Wilmington stayed close for a half, but host Kent State pounded the inside and pulled away for an 83-64 nonconference victory on Sunday afternoon. Chad Tomko scored 19 points to lead the Seahawks, who are now 2-2 and travel to Texas A&M on Tuesday.
