Bridge probe looks at beams

Oak Island | Investigators were on the scene this week at the new Oak Island bridge where a concrete girder collapsed Dec. 3, killing one man and injuring two others.<br>It’s been three weeks since the 121-ton beam fell while the one next to it was being placed. But officials say they still don’t know what happened to cause the collapse.
