Fire damages Blue Clay Road house

Fire damaged the first floor of a vacant two-story house in the 5800 block of Blue Clay Road about 11 p.m. Wednesday, a New Hanover County fire official said.<br>No one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries, Deputy Fire Marshal Tom Sosebee of New Hanover County Fire Services said.

Pender may spread out water fee payments
