‘Loud music’ complaint leads to drug and larceny charges

A police officer investigating a loud music complaint at a Darlington Avenue apartment at 2 a.m. Thursday and ended up charging people in the apartment with burglary, larceny, underage drinking and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a Wilmington Police Department release.

Council to consider buying one-third-acre lot for $750,000

Cooperative Bank must raise $25 million

Cooperative Bankshares Inc. needs to raise $25 million of additional capital to comply with a cease-and-desist order and an agreement with federal and state bank regulators, according to a filing by the bank with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
