Pender school budget would increase spending

Fire at North Brunswick High School

A fire in the wood shop at North Brunswick High School in Leland was contained as of 8:05 tonight, Brunswick County Schools’ Superintendent Katie McGee said.Stephen Miley, the schools’ executive director of operations, said he knew of no injuries from the fire.Wednesday’s classes at North Brunswick High School have been cancelled.
