Times may be tough on Market Street, but one downtown Wilmington store is back in business.

A couple of weeks ago NewsChannel 3 reported Cape Fear Books and Supply on Front Street shut down, leaving Cape Fear Community College students with the on-campus store as their only option for buying textbooks.

A Wilmington couple bought the off-campus store and reopened it Wednesday, just in time for CFCC students to sell their books back as the semester comes to a close.

While no cases of the H1N1 flu, more commonly known as swine flu, have been found in North Carolina, the illness is having an effect on UNCW baseball.

The News Journal in Wilmington, DE, reports the University of Delaware’s baseball team has cancelled its three-game series this weekend at UNCW because a Delaware player is sick. The paper says the school is dealing with ten "probable" cases of H1N1. The Blue Hens were scheduled to take a bus here this afternoon.

UNCW’s sports information director told WWAY as of 8 a.m. the school had not yet heard from Delaware about the cancellation.
