Police identify victim in Southport homicide investigation

Police have identified the 62-year-old victim of an apparent homicide in Southport.Gladys Myrie of 307 W. 11th St., Southport, was found dead in her home Friday afternoon after her brother noticed broken glass and called police, Southport Police Chief J.V. Dove said.
