Rowers make 1,500-mile trek to raise money for autism

Five university graduates from Philadelphia and Delaware decided to row two 17-foot Van Duyne Surf Boats for 1,500 miles from Boca Raton, Fla., to Sea Isle City, N.J., from June 13 to Aug. 1. But it wasn’t just for the adventure.They wanted to raise $250,000 for the Autism Society of America and raise awareness of the disease.
