Ten local business owners and officials gathered at the Wilmington Downtown office in Chandler’s Wharf Wednesday afternoon to discuss how to get the project off the ground.

Progress Energy gets $200 million to improve energy grid

Four injured in car wreck at intersection of N. Kerr and Farley Dr.

WILMINGTON | Four people were taken to the hospital Wednesday evening after a car and an SUV collided in the intersection of North Kerr Avenue and Farley Drive, officials said.N.C. Highway Patrol Trooper E.S. Wyrick Jr. said he did not know the seriousness of the injuries, but that he didn’t think they were life-threatening.
