Charlotte experiencing influx of coyotes

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) – The North Carolina city that supports Panthers and Bobcats wants no part of the real four-legged predators roaming its neighborhoods.The Charlotte Observer reported Sunday that coyotes are terrorizing residents, who fear for their small children and animals.

Attempted car-jacking near Supply-Holden Beach area

Supply | Brunswick County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man after an attempted carjacking Saturday in a grocery store parking lot, officials said.The crime occurred at 6:48 p.m. in the Food Lion parking lot at 1100 Sabbath Home Road in the Supply-Holden Beach area, according to a statement from Lt. Sam Davis of the sheriff’s office.
