Armed man robs Arby’s restaurant on Shipyard

Wilmington | An armed man robbed the Arby’s at 1502 Shipyard Boulevard just before 10 p.m. on Sunday.Soon after the robbery, Wilmington police cars were on the side-streets in the vicinity of the restaurant, which is near Shipyard and 17th street.

Navassa mayor leads effort to preserve church

At the forefront of the effort to preserve the Reaves Chapel Church is Navassa Mayor Eulis Willis. He hopes to enlist the help of the county and the state, with an eventual goal of having the structure listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
