Marion Coston may have been bald most of his life, but the nickname “Curly” stuck with him.“Because of his blonde curly hair in early days,” said son Bill Coston, Jr.Marion William Coston Sr. died Oct. 22 from a mass on his lungs at the age of 86.

New monument honors local military veterans

The local chapter of Rolling Thunder, a national organization dedicated to bringing awareness to issues about service members who are or were prisoners of war or are missing in action, dedicated a veterans memorial that was eight years in the making.
