RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) – A North Carolina man has been killed trying to help people injured in a car crash.Multiple media outlets reported Saturday that the 33-year-old Good Samaritan fell off a bridge after jumping over a highway barrier Friday night in Raleigh.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) – Starting soon, North Carolina drivers who text behind the wheel will need to pull over to avoid fines.Multiple media outlets report Saturday that the state’s ban on sending text messages while driving goes into effect Dec. 1. Violations could cost drivers $100 in fines.
