Community celebrates opening of new facility for seniors

An enthusiastic crowd cheered as former Brunswick County Commissioner May Moore cut the ceremonial ribbon to officially open the new Brunswick Senior Resources Inc. facility in Southport. The group then went inside to learn about the inception of BSRI.

Man reports carjacking at Creekwood neighborhood

WILMINGTON | A man told police three men took his vehicle at gunpoint Saturday evening as he visited a friend in the Creekwood neighborhood on North 30th Street.The man told investigators three men approached him at 7:47 p.m. and threatened him with a gun before taking his car.
