Plans could create affordable housing in Brunswick County

When Bonnie Lewis quit her full-time job as a cake decorator and took on full-time care of her aging, disabled mother, the first order of business was to get the 61-year-old out of her Leland mobile home. “She has breathing problems,” said Lewis, 43. “I needed a cleaner place for her to live.”
