Scotts Hill residents support fire substation

Support for a Scotts Hill fire substation was unanimous among about 50 residents who attended a public forum this week, said a county official. The Scotts Hill fire district is jointly served by Hampstead Volunteer Fire and Rescue and New Hanover County Fire Services. The community off U.S. 17 is located on the county line.

Northside project aims to provide affordable housing

Fishermen get new set of rules for gill-net use
