National head count starts Monday

The 2010 Census questionnaires will start showing up in mailboxes this week.Starting Monday, more than 120 million households nationwide will begin receiving the forms for the decennial count.The survey, the shortest since the national census started in 1790, includes 10 questions, including ones about home ownership, gender and race.

Alma Peterson could speak Latin as well as Caesar, according to one of her former students, Carol Badgett.“She taught us well in all of the ways that it is possible for one devoted soul to teach others,” said Badgett.Alma Prager Peterson passed away Feb. 11 at the age of 89.

Ex-ABC boss to earn $16,238 a month in retirement
